I learned early on they'll try to put you in a box and slap a label on you. No thanks. You can keep your fancy title and cubicle with a view. My creativity has no walls and no title defines what I do. I sell, write, design, illustrate, code a bit, and, do whatever it takes to gets my clients giddy. Add a little defiance to your brand.

It's your heart
not your wallet

I am as selective with the company I keep as you. Money counts but it's the heart of my clients that matter most. My favorite industry to work with is non-profit. But beyond that, I lean towards businesses that are serious about their brand, but also see the value in having fun with it too. Life is too short for stuffed-shirt branding. I'm a t-shirt kind of guy, and I don't mean the $200 designer ones either.

I'M NOT REMOTELY CORPORATE

I threw away my resume decades ago. Another corporately incorrect thing about me. For almost twenty five years I have been bushwhacking my own path. Not once have I looked back either. Along the way I picked up an amazing wife, a monkey on my back and front, and a backpack full of all kinds of clients. I love what I do, but un-corporate as it is my work comes in a distant second to my family. So if you can't reach me it's probably because I am burning a meal for my wife, or trapped by my daughters in a WWF "Chinese Death" headlock. What can I say they have no mercy, and for sure are as corporately incorrect as me. Well almost.
